In Philosophy class, we discussed Marcel’s Metaphysics of Hope in which Marcel explores the idea of genuine hope.

We were asked what would be the best way to transfer water from one place to another with no other material but your hands - a gowpen. But how efficient is it? How much water can it hold? What are the chances that when you get to the destination, there’s no longer water in your hands?
